After the production version was unveiled in September 2018, the Audi e-Tron is set to enter production in 2019. However, delays (mostly unknown or unannounced) have now pushed dates back.
United States
In September 2018, Audi USA started accepting pre-orders with deposits to hold customer’s place in line for the 2019 e-Tron.
As of August 2019, the Audi USA website still offers reservations, but says nothing about delivery dates or availability. On the GreenCarReports website, the Audi e-Tron production manager reported to have said that Audi has U.S. orders for the car, and it is expected to go on sale in May.
Europe
The Audi e-Tron was scheduled for deliveries in November 2018, but due to software issues required to meet government regulations, the electric vehicle is delayed until later in December.
Waiting lists for the e-Tron in Europe have extended from 4-5 months to 6-7 months
Deliveries in Norway and Germany started in March 2019, with over 1000 delivered in the first month.
United Kingdom
Audi said UK deliveries will begin in early 2019.
China
Audi says the e-Tron will be available in dealerships in China in the second half of the year.
